Concentrated programming course for automation engineers. In this 5-day course, you will gain a basic understanding of the structure and principles of the SattLine system.

Prerequisites to participate

There are no prerequisites for participation, but programming experience from other systems is an advantage, e.g. PLC programming, high-level languages or similar. In addition, it would be an advantage if you have experience from automation projects.

Sattline programming

SattLine is a Distributed Control System (DCS) that has been used for many years to control, monitor and collect data from production facilities. It is used extensively at many Danish process plants, especially at the major players in the pharmaceutical industry.

Teaching method

Teaching and course material will be in English, but the course instructor speaks Danish for clarification if needed.

Teaching takes place in modern course facilities with a computer for each participant and the use of an advanced teacher-student system.

Johan Åkesson

Johan Åkesson is part of our automation team. He is a specialist in automation and was one of the developers of the SattLine system in the 1990s.
