S88 - A Practical Approach

This course introduces participants to the structure of batch production process control, which ensures consistency across systems and programming languages. Participants will gain a basic understanding of other relevant standards in control system architecture and integration. In addition, the course includes an introduction to how to apply standards in line with current industry trends in Industry 4.0. The content is based on DS/EN 61512-1:2001, Batch control - Part 1: Models and terminology and the industrial experience of the instructors.

Teaching method: The course is mainly in Danish, but English is offered as a supplement. All teaching material is in English. The instructor can help with clarifications in Danish. The course includes interactive lectures with practical exercises and real-life examples. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and share their experiences.
